2003 Oklahoma Open Results

During this weekend's Oklahoma Open, there were several Stillwater wrestlers that competed against the best that Oklahoma and the surrounding states had to offer. Stillwater sent wrestlers to the tournament at 119, 125, 145. These wrestlers include Lance Thompson, Seth Aufleger, and Luke Elmore. With two of the Stillwater wrestlers ranked number one in Class 5A, there were some lofty expectations for these two, as well as the other Stillwater wrestlers competing in the tournament. The results for the Pioneers that competed are listed below:

High School Placers:

Lance Thompson (left) & Luke Elmore (right) both collected bronze medals in the 2003 Oklahoma Open. Thompson and Elmore both compiled a 7-1 record for the tournament.

The Stillwater Junior High was also able to make some noise as they had a champion crowned at 152 and a third place finish at 118 lbs.
