Lance Thompson decided to continue his
wrestling career right at home in the orange & black.
On November 10th, Lance signed a letter of intent to
compete in college as an OSU Cowboy.
This marks the first time since Todd Chesbro that a Stillwater wrestler signs with a Division-I school for wrestling. Thompson is looking to become only the first Pioneer to win three state titles, which would put him as the 2nd winningest wrestler behind Todd Chesbro, who had four state titles.
In preseason rankings (As of 11-10-05), Wrestling USA magazine has Thompson listed the #1-Ranked 135-lber in the country [See Link Below].
