Pioneers begin season with 64-18 win over Bartlesville

Well it's that time of the year again and the Pioneers are back on the mat with a lot of new faces. In the season opener, the Pioneers only saw 6 Bartlesville wrestlers take the mat, with the remaining 8 matches going by way of forfeit to the Pioneers.

Out of the Pioneers who had an opponent, Jared Elmore started off his sophomore campaign with a major decision victory at 112 lbs. The other two collecting wins for the Pioneers were Senior Earl Sparrow at 215 lbs. and Freshman Travis Morgan at 285 lbs., both winning by fall.

The Pioneers are back in action this Saturday when they travel to Ark City.
